KILAW opens job opportunities for law graduates as scientific participants
The Kuwait International Law School (KILAW) announced the opening of applications for its graduates and graduates of other law and legal studies faculties to apply for the position of “Academic Participants” for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. Applications can be submitted electronically until next Thursday, to assist faculty members in a number of courses designated by the college.
In a press statement, the college clarified that the Academic Participant system involves the temporary engagement of outstanding graduates to work with a faculty member in a specific course during the semester. This arrangement allows them to participate in the academic environment and gain practical experience in both teaching and research, without acquiring a permanent employment status at the college or being considered as full-time appointed academic assistants.
The college specified that application conditions include holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, proficiency in using computers and relevant academic software, as well as possessing strong communication and teamwork skills. It noted that prior experience in teaching assistance or research work is preferred, while priority is given to graduates of the Kuwait International Law School.
The college stated that Academic Participants, under the direct supervision of the faculty member responsible for the course, undertake a number of tasks supporting the educational process. These include assisting in preparing scientific materials and practical applications related to the course, and searching for relevant legislation, judicial rulings, and references pertaining to the course topics.
The duties also involve contributing to the preparation of case studies, legal issues, and exercises directed at students; assisting the faculty member in scientific and practical activities and discussions related to the course; and contributing to monitoring students and providing them with scientific support within the scope of the course, in accordance with the faculty member’s directives. Additionally, participants engage in scientific activities and events associated with the course.
