Minister of Health and Lebanese Ambassador Discuss Ways to Enhance Health Sector Cooperation

Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi held talks today, Sunday, with Lebanon’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Ghadi Al-Khouri, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation in the health sector, medical training, exchange of expertise, support for scientific research, and development of health infrastructure.

In a press statement issued by the Ministry of Health, Al-Awadi emphasized the ministry’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperative ties with Lebanon and leveraging its expertise to develop health services and enhance the quality of medical care across various specialties.

He noted that this meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to bolster international cooperation and develop the health sector in the State of Kuwait.

For his part, the Lebanese ambassador, according to the statement, affirmed his country’s readiness to provide the latest medical technologies and services that would contribute to the development of the health sector in Kuwait.
