250 Kuwaitis pass “Cooperation Observers” exams out of 435

The Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaili, announced that 250 Kuwaiti nationals had passed the recruitment examinations for the positions of financial and administrative supervisors in the cooperation sector, out of 435 candidates who attended the tests held at the American University of Kuwait.

In a press statement marking the announcement of the test results, Al-Huwaili said that the total number of applicants for the two positions reached 728 Kuwaiti nationals, of whom 435 attended the examinations, while 293 did not show up. She noted that the advertised positions included 30 financial supervisor roles and 60 administrative supervisor roles.

She added that the number of applicants for the administrative supervisor position was 484, of whom 295 attended the test and 173 passed, achieving a success rate of 58 percent. Meanwhile, the number of applicants for the financial supervisor position was 244, with 140 attending the test and 77 passing, resulting in a success rate of 55 percent.

Al-Huwaili clarified that the minimum score required to pass the examination is 80 percent. The test accounts for 90 percent of the final evaluation, while the personal interview before the specialized committee in the ministry constitutes the remaining 10 percent.

Al-Huwaili emphasized that the test results reflect the ministry’s commitment to selecting candidates for cooperative supervisory positions based on criteria of competence, merit, transparency, and equal opportunity. She stressed that the ministry is proceeding with completing the selection procedures in accordance with the announced regulations and standards, without exception.
