National Guard Deputy Commander: "Watan Flag 2" Exercise Embodies Military and Security Integration

Deputy Commander of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Burjisi, witnessed the execution of the second phase of the “Rayat Watan 2” exercise at the Operations Center and Security System and Crisis Management Department of the General Headquarters of the National Guard. The exercise is conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, and the General Fire Department.

The Deputy Commander praised the efforts of the participants in carrying out the exercise, noting that it embodies integration among military and security entities and contributes to unifying concepts, training plans, and coordination among them.

He added that the exercise provides an opportunity for the General Staff bodies of the National Guard to train in managing operations and making timely decisions according to scenarios that simulate the nature of challenges and tasks that combat and support units may face in emergency conditions.
