Cabinet entrusts the implementation of the "Places of Worship" Law to the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs

Cabinet Resolution No. 975 of 2026 stipulates that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs shall be the competent ministry for implementing the Law Regulating the Establishment and Management of Places of Worship, issued by Law Decree No. 72 of 2026, and that the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs shall be the minister responsible for this law.

The resolution obligates the Prime Minister and the ministers, each within their respective areas of competence, to implement it, with effect from the date of its issuance.
