“Kuwait Is With You”... Opens Doors of Hope for the Needy Around the World
Within the framework of the “Kuwait is by Your Side” campaign and under high-level directives, Kuwaiti humanitarian giving continues to transcend borders, carrying a message that goes beyond mere assistance to shaping a safer and more stable life. Projects in education, health, water, and relief converge to reflect a steadfast Kuwaiti approach to standing by humanity wherever it is.
Thus, the humanitarian journey continues, making Kuwait’s name a companion to the needy in many places, and reinforcing the meaning that when goodness extends with awareness and sustainability, it does not end with the conclusion of a project. Rather, it remains a school that illuminates the future, a wellspring pulsating with life, a center that heals pain, and a human legacy passed down through generations.
In Zanzibar, Tanzania, the Namah Charitable Organization, affiliated with the Al-Islah Social Association, continued its developmental path through educational and humanitarian projects, including the Kaf and Namah Educational Complex, orphanages, the Namah School, and one Quranic school. These efforts were accompanied by food distributions to beneficiary families, extending a range of initiatives spanning education, water, health, and relief. The impact of these efforts also reached Yemen, Gaza, and Chad.
Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Namah, told KUNA that humanitarian work extended to Yemen with the opening of the Nora Health Center, built on an area of 205 square meters. The center includes clinics for women, men, and children, an emergency room, a pharmacy, a laboratory, a reception department, and service facilities, and is expected to serve approximately 4,000 beneficiaries annually.
Al-Kandari noted that Namah continues to implement the “Goodness Quenches Their Thirst” campaign in the Gaza Strip by distributing water containers to displaced persons in the northern part of the sector. Meanwhile, it concluded the project for the Wadha Al-Anzi Islamic Center in Chad, which includes a mosque and a Quran memorization center, along with the distribution of Quran copies to beneficiaries.
For its part, the Minbar Al-Qurani Association continued to chart multiple paths of humanitarian work through projects extending from supporting widows and needy families in Palestine to providing drinking water to the needy in Africa and drilling wells in India.
The association’s Director General, Dr. Mohammed Al-Amran, stated that the association implemented a project supporting widows in Palestine, in addition to distributing food baskets to needy families.
He pointed out that water provision projects included the distribution of 60,000 liters of water in Africa, while the association opened 30 wells in India.
