Al-Mulla: Kazma ready for 'Al-Mumtaz' and awaits 'Al-Khalijia'

Kuwait Al-Kazma Club’s treasurer and head of the football department, Omar Al-Mulla, confirmed that the first team is ready to compete in the Zain Premier League, which kicks off the day after tomorrow (Tuesday). He noted that “The Orange” will begin their campaign with a match against Al-Tadamun next Thursday at the Friendship and Peace Stadium.
Al-Mulla clarified that the 2-0 victory over Kuwait in the last friendly match should not be considered a benchmark of the team’s level, as the exercise was aimed at testing players and preparing for the start of the tournament. He affirmed that the training camp held in Turkey achieved its objectives by preparing the players and addressing shortcomings through experimental matches.
He stressed that the most important thing is achieving results in official matches, adding that the team only needs luck to return to the podium.
Al-Mulla revealed the club’s intention to soon approach the General Authority for Sports to organize a training camp in October next year in preparation for the third edition of the Gulf Club Champions League.
He noted that the technical staff is awaiting the results of the Gulf tournament draw scheduled for the day after tomorrow, emphasizing that all participating teams are strong and aspire to win the title, with no easy matches in this competition.
