Al-Tatbiqi and the National Guard discuss preparing training programs

Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), held discussions with officials from the National Guard regarding areas of joint cooperation in designing and implementing specialized training programs for National Guard personnel in various medical, engineering, industrial, and vocational fields, with the presence of several academic leaders from the Authority.

PAAET stated that the meeting discussed the National Guard’s training needs for its personnel, particularly those working in medical, engineering, industrial, and vocational sectors, and explored the extent to which the Authority’s academic, training capacities, and specialized expertise could be leveraged to develop programs that meet these needs, thereby enhancing the skills and professional competence of the personnel.

The Authority indicated its readiness to study the National Guard’s training requirements and work on developing and tailoring training programs accordingly, following receipt of a comprehensive overview of the nature of the required programs, specializations, and needs. These would then be reviewed by the relevant academic and training departments within PAAET to formulate an appropriate implementation plan.

It added that the meeting falls within the framework of strengthening cooperation and coordination between PAAET and the National Guard, facilitating the exchange of expertise and utilizing available resources to contribute to the development and qualification of national cadres and raising their competency levels across various specialized fields.

Attending the meeting on behalf of the National Guard were: Brigadier General Engineer Mohammed Al-Hajji, Director of the Medical Services Directorate; Brigadier General Engineer Thamer Al-Hushash, Director of the Information Systems Directorate; Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Haddad, Director of the Projects Management Directorate; Brigadier General Engineer Jasem Al-Farhan, Director of the Technical Services Directorate; Colonel Saud Hamad, representing the Training Directorate; and Major Ahmed Khalid, from Medical Services.
