stc Enables Youth to Innovate a New Product for the Youth Segment

Kuwait’s stc has concluded its summer youth training program, following an intensive month-long journey that provided participants with the opportunity to gain practical insight into the corporate work environment, acquire direct experience from specialists across various fields, and apply their learning through a series of activities and practical challenges.
The program was designed to offer an experience that goes beyond traditional training. Young participants engaged in lectures, workshops, and specialized sessions covering marketing, public relations, corporate communications, content creation, and customer experience, thereby expanding their knowledge and enhancing their practical skills.
The program also included a series of tours and field visits in collaboration with stc’s partners, including Al-Tayeb Al-Morshed and Al-Jarida newspaper, aiming to introduce participants to diverse work environments and experiences. Additionally, young participants took part in interactive workshops led by several experts, including Esraa Abdulrahim, a coffee specialist, and Abdulrahman Al-Salman, who shared his expertise in social media and content creation.
In the program’s main challenge, participants worked in teams to innovate and develop a new product concept targeting stc’s Youth segment, based on an understanding of young people’s needs and interests. Each team presented its final idea to a specialized jury, with projects evaluated based on the strength of the concept, its suitability for the target audience, marketing strategy, and the quality of execution and presentation.
At the conclusion of the program, stc honored the team with the best idea. The company will now consider developing the winning concept and transforming it into a tangible, executable product within its Youth offerings, reflecting its commitment to engaging young people, listening to their ideas and aspirations, and incorporating them into the development of products and services tailored to them.
All participating young people were also honored in recognition of their commitment and engagement throughout the program, which provided them with the opportunity to combine knowledge with practical experience and develop their skills in preparation for the next stage of their professional careers.
In a statement, stc noted that the summer youth training program aligns with its ongoing commitment to investing in young national talent and creating opportunities that bridge academic knowledge with practical experience. The company emphasized that empowering youth goes beyond merely providing knowledge; it extends to giving them a genuine space for experimentation, innovation, and participation in developing solutions and products that reflect the needs of their generation.
stc reaffirmed its continued support for programs and initiatives that prepare young people for the job market and enhance their participation in the future of Kuwait’s telecommunications and technology sectors.
