Ministry of Health: We dealt yesterday with a limited electrical fire at an administrative office in Jabir Hospital

The Ministry of Health stated that a minor electrical fire occurred yesterday evening, Thursday, in a computer system at an administrative office within Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital, away from healthcare service areas, causing smoke odor to spread to some patient wards.

The incident was promptly handled and brought under control in accordance with approved safety and security protocols. Several patients were temporarily relocated as a precautionary measure and were returned after confirming the safety of the affected areas.

Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering and Projects Eng. Ibrahim Al-Naham, and Director of Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital Dr. Nada Al-Hasan were present at the site to monitor procedures on the ground and ensure patient safety and operational continuity. Conditions returned to normal within a short period.
