Kuwait’s under-11 girls’ table tennis team secured gold, silver, and bronze medals in the individual event at the West Asian Championship currently being held in Jordan, which concluded on Thursday.

Player Haya Salah won the gold medal after defeating her teammate Sheikha Al-Ali in the final, who took the silver medal. Meanwhile, player Dalal Al-Shamari claimed the bronze medal after defeating Saudi player Shouq Al-Dosari.

Kuwait swept the top three positions in the individual competition, thanks to outstanding performances by the Kuwaiti players in a tournament that featured 16 participants from various participating countries.

The championship saw wide participation from the national teams of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Oman, Iraq, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
