Al-Salmiya signs Salem Mufarreh to lead the 'Handball Cubs'

Al-Salmiya Club has strengthened its interest in youth handball teams by hiring national coach Salem Mufarrah to lead the under-15 cadets team in the 2026–2027 sports season, a move aimed at building a strong foundation of players capable of supporting the sport’s future development. The club’s sports director, Mubarak Najm, signed the contract on behalf of Al-Salmiya, as Mufarrah begins his new role with the “Sky Blues” amid high ambitions to field a competitive team that will deliver standout performances in upcoming tournaments.

Mufarrah is among the young national coaches striving to leave a clear mark in youth development by focusing on enhancing players’ technical and physical skills, and building a cohesive squad equipped with the necessary attributes to achieve positive results.
