26 violations reported in advertisements in Hawalli

The municipality, in a statement, confirmed that the Audit and Municipal Services Follow-up Department in Hawalli Governorate conducted the “License Your Activity… Take the Right Steps” campaign to inspect commercial activities and health permits for shops, as well as advertising licenses, and to take all regulatory measures against violators. It also verified compliance with the regulations governing shops and advertising across all their activities.

The Public Relations Department noted that the fourth field tour in Hawalli Governorate covered several commercial areas to monitor violations, take necessary actions, and verify permitted activities. The tour resulted in the issuance of violation notices due to modifications in shop conditions that did not align with the architectural drawings, the addition of space without obtaining a construction permit from the municipality, the use of unlicensed space, and the erection of advertisements without permits. The municipality emphasized that the tour would be followed by several additional field tours across all governorates according to a schedule of field campaigns prepared by the Public Relations Management team in coordination with relevant departments to implement these campaigns over the coming weeks.
