Trump: Negotiating with Iran is a waste of time; only an empty shell remains

U.S. President Donald Trump said today that the Iranians still have some capacity to fight, but overall, only an empty shell remains.

Trump added in an interview with Axios that the Strait of Hormuz will not be as important as it was in the past.

He noted that the United States is not currently negotiating with Iran, considering talks with Tehran a waste of time, and emphasized that the naval blockade on Iran is effective.
