Kuwait University: Accepting applications for Student Employment... Sunday

The Student Employment Department at Kuwait University announced the start of registration for students wishing to join the student employment program on an hourly basis for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. The department urged students to consult the contact officer at work centers and colleges, starting from Sunday, the 23rd of this month, until Thursday, September 17.
In a press statement, the department noted that the hourly work system would commence on Thursday, October 1, adhering to the specific regulations and conditions set by the Student Employment Department for students seeking to work on an hourly basis within university facilities. Key conditions include: the student must have completed at least one academic semester (i.e., cannot be a freshman); the student must not have received more than one warning regarding their overall grade point average; graduate students are not permitted to work under this system; and students are only allowed to work in the college in which they are enrolled, taking into account their class schedule.
The department further stated that students who are children of university employees or faculty members are not permitted to work in the same departments or work centers where their parents or guardians are employed. Additionally, students are not allowed to work more than three hours per day or exceed 10 hours per week. Furthermore, students are not permitted to combine hourly work with external employment in government institutions or ministries.
