Crystal Palace signs Goulo

Guzo, 19, who represents the U.S. youth national teams, signed a five-year contract with Crystal Palace late Monday evening. Reports indicated the deal was worth $15 million.

Real Salt Lake stated in a press release that it “will retain a significant percentage of any future transfer value for Guzo,” noting that the player became the first athlete from Utah to join a Premier League club.

Crystal Palace will begin their Premier League campaign on Saturday against Everton, and will also compete in the Europa League, with the league phase draw taking place in the Emirate of Monaco next week.
