"Talabat" Renewed Its Strategic Sponsorship of CODED's Academy X Program for the Third Consecutive Year

Academy X, led by CODED Academy, is the largest initiative in Kuwait to empower women in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship. The continuation of this partnership reflects Talabat’s commitment to supporting national talent, enhancing digital culture, and strengthening the innovation ecosystem and economic development in Kuwait, in alignment with the goals of “Kuwait Vision 2035.”
The partnership renewal was announced during a joint press conference attended by all program sponsors, where participants outlined the program’s vision, upcoming cohorts, and future aspirations.
Among the key speakers at the conference was Amal Bu Khamseen, Director of Corporate Affairs at Talabat Kuwait, who emphasized the importance of building a comprehensive technological ecosystem that provides equal opportunities for all and enhances the alignment between educational outcomes and labor market requirements.
On this occasion, Bu Khamseen stated, “Empowering the next generation of female leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) is a cornerstone of Talabat’s corporate social responsibility strategy. We are pleased to renew our partnership with CODED Academy for the third consecutive year, driven by our belief in the importance of equipping girls with future-ready skills, modern technologies, and practical experience to meet industry demands. We also aim to boost their confidence in their abilities, enabling them to innovate, create, and lead. Investing in youth is a direct investment in Kuwait’s digital future.”
For his part, Hashem Bahbahani, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of CODED, stated during the press conference launching the initiative, “Academy X today represents more than just a training program; it is a platform that opens new horizons for girls to experience innovation and shape the future. We believe that skills related to artificial intelligence and technology are no longer optional but have become essential tools for success across various fields, from entrepreneurship and marketing to design and digital solution development.”
Bahbahani added, “At CODED, we work to create an environment that equips participants with the knowledge, experience, and confidence to transform their ideas into tangible projects and achievements. The success of Academy X graduates year after year confirms the vast potential of Kuwaiti girls when provided with the right opportunities and support. We extend our gratitude to our partners and sponsors who share this vision and contribute to empowering a new generation of ambitious young women to play an active role in building a more innovative and impactful future.”
The program continues to rely on a comprehensive core curriculum covering key skills and areas, including mobile app and website development, user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design, leadership, soft skills, and entrepreneurship fundamentals. Additionally, this year’s program features a new component: a specialized training session on Claude AI, focusing on enabling participants to professionally craft prompts, allowing them to directly build practical applications while leveraging AI technologies in marketing, business development, and digital innovation.
This update aims to equip participants, aged 14 to 18, with the latest tools and technologies that are shaping the future of the global technology sector.
Academy X continues to solidify its position as a leading platform that provides Kuwaiti girls with unique opportunities to gain practical experience in the field of tech entrepreneurship. During its intensive program, students participate in hands-on workshops, engage with a select group of experts and specialists in the sector, and work in collaborative teams to develop innovative ideas and projects.
The program culminates in a practical capstone project, through which participants apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired to propose innovative digital solutions that address real challenges within their communities, which are then presented to a distinguished panel of experts and industry veterans.
It is worth noting that the renewal of this partnership reflects the shared commitment of Talabat and CODED to continue empowering the next generation of female leaders in the technology sector, preparing them to contribute to sustainable development and play an active role in shaping the contours of the digital future.
