Chilean President: Strengthening Our Friendship and Relations with Kuwait

Kuwait’s Ambassador to Argentina, Abdulaziz Al-Basher, presented his credentials as non-resident ambassador accredited to Chile to President José Kast, in the presence of Foreign Minister Francisco Macaya.

In a statement, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Argentina said that Ambassador Al-Basher conveyed to the Chilean President, during the ceremony held at the presidential palace, greetings from His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the political leadership, along with best wishes for the friendly nation of Chile for continued progress and prosperity.

He noted that the meeting recalled the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries, dating back 65 years, and that both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation frameworks across all fields, in the interest of both countries and their friendly peoples.
