UAE Interior Ministry: The situation in the country is currently secure

The UAE Ministry of Interior sent a text message via mobile phones on Tuesday stating that “the situation is currently safe,” and urged residents to resume their normal activities, following a previous alert that warned of a missile threat. The latest message read: “Thank you for your cooperation. We reassure you that the situation is currently safe, and you may resume your normal activities, provided you remain vigilant, cautious, and stay updated on developments.” Earlier in the day, the UAE Ministry of Defense posted on the X platform that its air defense system had detected a missile threat. In its initial alert, the Ministry of Interior urged citizens to “immediately take shelter in a safe building, away from windows, doors, and open areas, and await official instructions” due to a “potential missile threat.”
