Civil Defense: Avoid placing smart devices on flammable surfaces

Under the theme “Safety Begins with Awareness,” the General Fire Department published educational videos on its website, warning against leaving smart electronic devices plugged into a power source while in use. It also advised against placing such devices on beds or any flammable surfaces, to prevent battery overheating and the associated risk of fire.
