Kuwait condemns the occupation authorities' refusal to complete the implementation of the US President's plan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation of the Israeli occupation authorities’ explicit rejection of the roadmap aimed at completing the implementation of U.S. President Donald Trump’s comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza, which was endorsed by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, as well as their rejection of the establishment of a Palestinian state. The Ministry stressed that these positions constitute an outright refusal to move forward with the implementation of the comprehensive plan, and fundamentally undermine collective efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace, including those undertaken by Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, the United States, the Peace Council, and all relevant parties.
Emphasizing the necessity for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and to hold the Israeli occupation authorities fully accountable for complying with the obligations and arrangements set forth in the comprehensive plan and its accompanying roadmap, while preventing any further obstacles to their implementation, the Ministry underscored the urgent need for the full and immediate execution of the comprehensive plan. This would contribute to addressing the dire humanitarian situation, ensure security and stability for all in Gaza, pave the way for reconstruction and recovery, and advance the realization of a just and lasting peace based on the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
