Gulf Insurance wins 23.8 million dinars in the first half, up 89.2%

Gulf Insurance Group announced today that it achieved net profits of 23.8 million dinars ($76.7 million), equivalent to earnings per share of 78.06 fils ($0.252) for the first half of 2026. This represents an increase of 89.2%, or 11.2 million dinars ($36.2 million), compared to the same period last year, when net profits stood at 12.6 million dinars ($40.5 million), with earnings per share of 38.68 fils ($0.125).
Insurance revenues reached 399.4 million dinars ($1.3 billion) during the first half of 2026, marking an increase of 11.1%, or 39.8 million dinars ($128.6 million), compared to 359.6 million dinars ($1.2 billion) in the same period last year. Net investment income amounted to 34.8 million dinars ($112.4 million) in the first half of 2026, reflecting a 23.2% increase, or 6.6 million dinars ($21.2 million), compared to 28.2 million dinars ($91.2 million) in the corresponding period last year.
The book value per share stood at 998 fils as of June 30, 2026, up 7.4% from 929 fils as of December 31, 2025. Equity attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached 283.9 million dinars ($916.4 million) as of June 30, 2026, an increase of 7.4% compared to 264.2 million dinars ($852.9 million) as of December 31, 2025.
Total assets amounted to 1.5 billion dinars ($4.85 billion) as of June 30, 2026, compared to 1.33 billion dinars ($4.28 billion) as of December 31, 2025, representing an increase of 175.9 million dinars ($567.8 million), or 13.3%.
