Most Gulf stock exchanges rise despite stalled negotiations to end the Iran war

Most stock markets in the Gulf region rose on Sunday, despite ongoing uncertainty in the region. Talks aimed at ending the war showed no signs of progress, and the movement of oil tankers through the strategic Strait of Hormuz has not fully resumed.

Iran urged the United States on Saturday to acknowledge defeat, while US President Donald Trump described Tehran as “very evil” and warned Americans of continued fuel price hikes resulting from the war.
