Egyptian President Meets Kushner: Support for Regional and International Security and Stability

Spokesman for the Presidential Spokesperson, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, stated that the meeting, held in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Egyptians Abroad Dr. Badr Abdelatty and Head of General Intelligence Minister Hassan Rashad, discussed developments in the Middle East region.

Ambassador El-Shenawy said that President Sisi emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to address common challenges, given Egypt and the United States’ commitment to supporting security and stability at both the regional and international levels, and highlighted the necessity of resolving various crises affecting the region to preserve regional stability.

The official spokesperson clarified that the meeting also addressed developments regarding the Palestinian issue, with emphasis on the need for all parties to fulfill their obligations under the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which was reached during the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit in October 2025.

The official spokesperson added that Kushner appreciated in turn the close coordination between Egypt and the United States, expressing his appreciation for the efforts undertaken by Egypt and President Sisi personally on various regional files to enhance peace and stability in the region, stressing that Egypt is a pivotal partner for the United States in the Middle East.
