Participants in “Huawei for Future Technologies” to travel to China soon

The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) announced that after a week of learning and development in Kuwait, participants in the “Huawei Future Technologies” program are continuing their journey through activities focused on communication and teamwork skills, as well as enhancing their professional and technical readiness for the next phase.

In a statement posted on its website today, the Foundation noted that program participants will travel to China next week to complete the subsequent stage, which combines technical training, practical application, and exposure to advanced technologies in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence. This initiative aims to build the capacities of young national talent, develop their skills, and prepare them to keep pace with future technologies, in line with the Foundation’s efforts to develop human capital and strengthen national capabilities in advanced technological fields.

In a separate development, the Kuwait National Center for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (KNSRC), a center under KFAS, has called for registrations for the “Astronomical Observation Workshop,” which offers a training experience combining theoretical knowledge and practical application to introduce participants to the fundamentals of astronomical observation and telescope usage.

The two-day workshop will see participants learn the basics of astronomical observation on the first day, while the second day is dedicated to practical application and observation using a telescope.
