The Commercial Bank Launches Beach Cleanup Initiative with Employee Participation

In line with its ongoing commitment to corporate and environmental responsibility, Kuwait Finance House, in collaboration with its employees, launched a beach-cleaning initiative at Marina Beach, aimed at removing waste and debris from the coastlines, protecting the marine environment from harmful practices, and promoting biodiversity and the preservation and sustainability of the marine ecosystem. This initiative is part of the bank’s continuous efforts to achieve the objectives of its Go Green campaign, which seeks to raise environmental awareness and contribute to environmental conservation.
Commenting on the initiative, Amani Al-Warraq, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications at Kuwait Finance House, stated, “At Kuwait Finance House, we believe in the importance of preserving the marine environment and beaches as a fundamental part of our social and environmental responsibility. We aim to support efforts to protect these natural resources and the marine environment from pollution, and to promote a culture of environmental conservation and raise awareness of its importance among all members of society.”
Al-Warraq added that “this initiative is part of a series of efforts and events organized by Kuwait Finance House under the Go Green campaign to enhance environmental awareness and encourage volunteerism across various fields, reflecting our commitment to the environment and society.”
She thanked the bank’s volunteer employees for their efforts and participation in the initiative, commending their role in supporting the cleanliness of Kuwait’s beaches and raising environmental awareness, thereby contributing to preserving them as sustainable and eco-friendly destinations.
