Fenway Group sells 30% stake in Liverpool to investment consortium

The Fenway Group has agreed to sell a 30% stake in Liverpool Football Club to an investment consortium led by British-Indian businessman Amit Bhatia, along with a group of new investors including Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon. The total value of the club’s sale is estimated at approximately £5.5 billion.
