In line with its ongoing commitment to supporting and developing young national talent, Waha Bank announced the acceptance of more than 40 trainees under the “Iniqala” program, implemented in collaboration with the Public Authority for Housing Affairs, in two cohorts during July and August. This initiative reflects the bank’s dedication to contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of meeting labor market demands and acquiring the necessary professional skills.
The program is part of Waha Bank’s efforts to enhance its corporate social responsibility by providing a professional training environment that offers participants a genuine opportunity to understand the nature of banking work and gain practical experience that contributes to developing their skills and refining their capabilities.
Regarding the initiative, Her Excellency Abdullah Al-Rashid, Head of the Human Resources and General Services Group, stated: “The Iniqala program extends beyond training within the bank’s branches; it provides a comprehensive professional experience that allows trainees to familiarize themselves with various departments and sectors, and to observe institutional operational mechanisms, thereby broadening their professional horizons and linking academic knowledge with practical application.”
Al-Rashid added: “Trainees also participate in a number of practical activities and tasks under the supervision of specialized banking staff, which helps them develop communication and teamwork skills, and strengthens their ability to assume responsibility and make decisions in a professional work environment.”
She emphasized that “Waha Bank believes that investing in youth is one of the key pillars of sustainable development. Therefore, the bank continues to launch initiatives and programs that provide them with real opportunities to learn and gain experience, thereby enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market in the future and aligning with the bank’s vision of building a qualified national workforce.”
