Al-Muslem: "When I See You" in 50 episodes on "Sirah"

Artist Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muslem announced the launch of his new series “When I See You” on the Sirra digital platform, comprising 50 episodes and dubbed into several languages worldwide.

Al-Muslem expressed his joy at releasing the series, noting his eagerness to receive audience feedback, especially since the production is a first of its kind in Kuwait as the first full-length series modeled after global productions. He emphasized that the series represents a new dramatic revolution that places Kuwaiti works at the forefront. Filmed in a style reminiscent of reels, each episode runs for no more than 1 minute and 30 seconds, with a total of 50 episodes, thereby creating a breakthrough in the realm of Kuwaiti drama.

He added that the series was shot using cinema cameras and lenses dedicated to films, similar to foreign and Korean series, employing a new and innovative filming technique never before seen in Arab drama. This approach presents images, scenes, and clips in a creative and novel style for the Arab viewer.

Al-Muslem noted that the series discusses a new story within a social framework filled with excitement and suspense. It follows the life of a wealthy man who loses his sight after an accident. As masks fall and others abandon him, he perceives with his inner vision what his eyes could not see, shedding light on life’s crises and revealing characters’ true natures.

He extended his gratitude to the organizers of the Sirra digital platform, having participated in its opening ceremony as one of its leading and honored artists. “When I See You” marks his first work on the platform, which was inaugurated in a festive atmosphere in historic Jeddah as the first Middle Eastern platform specializing in “short drama” and “mini drama.” Aimed at Arab, Gulf, and international families, the platform operates under a purposeful media vision that reflects societal values and supports the production of sophisticated and profound visual content.
