Roma signs Argentine Molina

The 28-year-old player, winner of the 2022 World Cup, will wear jersey number 20 for the Italian capital club, which is set to return to the UEFA Champions League this season.
According to several media outlets, the deal is valued at approximately 17 million euros (19.6 million dollars).
Molina has earned 65 caps for the Argentina national team and was part of the squad that finished as runners-up in last month’s World Cup, having come on as a substitute in the final, which Argentina lost to Spain.
Molina has also won two Copa América titles, in 2021 and 2024. He made 249 appearances and scored 19 goals across various European competitions during his spells with Italian side Udinese and Atletico Madrid, according to Roma.
Molina could make his debut for the Italian club in Roma’s opening Serie A match, when they host Fiorentina on August 24.
