Ministry of Electricity and Water to Staff: Update Academic Qualifications Data Within 4 Days

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has urged its employees who have not updated their academic qualification records to promptly complete the required procedures and update their data, in light of directives from the Civil Service Bureau regarding the review of academic certificates and qualifications for employees in government entities and the private sector.
The ministry has provided its various sectors with the names of some employees who have not updated their academic qualification data, requesting an explanation for the failure to update these records to date.
It also required all employees who have not updated their data to sign the attached undertaking form pending the issuance of the electronic equivalence certificate, and to update their academic qualification data immediately upon the issuance of the equivalence for those who have not updated their records to date.
The ministry called for the contact officer from each sector to collect a list of employees’ names from the Monitoring and Auditing Department and the Personnel Affairs Administration within one working day.
In a separate development, “Kuwait Power” announced that the main Fuwayrit (G) substation was taken out of service due to a technical fault, resulting in a power outage affecting a limited part of the Fuwayrit area.
It noted that its emergency teams were on-site immediately after the substation went offline and are working to restore power as soon as possible.
