Calls for Al-Iraqi to reveal his sources on the "security loophole" behind the assassination of the former Supreme Leader

Iran’s judiciary has demanded that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi disclose the source of the information he provided in remarks suggesting that a “security loophole” was behind the assassination of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Al-Arabiya quoted judiciary spokesperson Asghar Javanfekr as calling for Araghchi to be held accountable to determine the source of the information regarding the targeting of the former Supreme Leader’s leadership complex. “If Araghchi has information about the assassination of the Supreme Leader, he must make it available to intelligence, security, and judicial authorities,” he said. Should Araghchi’s remarks warrant an investigation or legal proceedings, Iran’s Public Prosecutor’s Office may intervene to take the necessary legal measures.
