Kuwait's Youth Team Faces Jordan in Second Match

Kuwait’s Under-20 national football team will face their Jordanian counterparts at 8:45 p.m. tomorrow at the Jaber Al-Mubarak Stadium in the Al-Salmiya Club, in their second friendly match as part of preparations for upcoming fixtures.
The clash comes within the framework of the second phase of the Blue Team’s preparations for the seventh qualifying group of the Asian Youth Championship qualifiers, scheduled to take place in Cambodia from September 31 to September 6. The group includes Cambodia, Yemen, Japan, and Kuwait.
The first meeting between the two sides ended with a 1-0 victory for Jordan, amid a lackluster performance from both teams affected by hot weather. The technical staff of the Blue Team, led by Croatian coach Viro Milin, aims to avoid such issues by making changes to the lineup, giving players more playing time to assess their technical and physical levels ahead of the qualifiers.
On the other hand, the Jordanian national team, under coach Ibrahim Helmy, is looking to improve its image after a mediocre performance in the previous match. He emphasized that the win did not reflect the true level of his team, and that tomorrow’s match represents a new opportunity to draw technical benefits before entering the fourth qualifying group, which will be held in Bahrain concurrently with the Asian qualifiers.
