AbdulFatah Ma’arfi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Commercial Real Estate Company (K.W.C.R.E.), announced that the company’s results for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, yielded net profits of KD 9,375,380, representing a 3.4 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Commenting on the financial results for the first half of the current year, Ma’arfi stated that despite the current political situation and its impact on economic conditions, the first half witnessed stability in net operating revenues, growth in the results of affiliated companies, and a decline in the valuation gains of certain investments compared to the same period last year.

Regarding the financial indicators for the first half of the current year, the return on shareholders’ equity stood at 3.1 percent, the return on total assets at 1.8 percent, and the return on company capital at 4.8 percent, with increases of 1.6, 3.3, and 0.44 percent, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

Ma’arfi emphasized that despite the prevailing geopolitical circumstances, the company continued to deliver strong performance, closely and continuously monitoring ongoing developments and assessing their potential implications on economic conditions. The company also continues to take necessary proactive measures to adapt to these challenges, thereby contributing to the protection of shareholders’ rights and maintaining the solidity of its financial position.

As part of its strategy aimed at diversifying its international investments and expanding its portfolio of income-generating assets, “Al-Tijariya,” through its subsidiaries, invested in a logistics and transportation center in the state of Texas, United States of America.

Furthermore, during the second quarter of the year, the company, in collaboration with its strategic investors, successfully exited its investment in the “501 First Residences” project in Miami. The project is a 40-story residential tower comprising 476 residential units. The exit followed the successful completion of the project’s development and the sale of its units, resulting in recorded profits for the company.

He added that during the second quarter of the year, the company continued to implement various community, environmental, and educational initiatives, reflecting its firm commitment to corporate social responsibility and its role as an active partner in achieving sustainable development.
