Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons Automobiles received a delegation from the body responsible for issuing International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications. The delegation held meetings with company representatives to review the key procedures and systems implemented within its operational processes, before presenting the company with three internationally recognized ISO certifications, which include:
The ISO 9001 certification underscores the company’s commitment to implementing an integrated quality management system focused on enhancing operational efficiency, elevating service levels, and boosting customer satisfaction through continuous review, evaluation, and improvement.
The ISO 14001 certification reflects the company’s efforts to adopt environmentally responsible operational practices, improve resource management, and minimize waste and environmental impacts resulting from its activities, aligning with its sustainability and corporate responsibility initiatives.
The ISO 45001 certification highlights the company’s dedication to applying the highest occupational health and safety standards by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks, fostering a safety culture across all work sites, and providing an environment that supports employee health, safety, and well-being.
Yousef Mustafa, General Manager at Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons Automobiles, stated, “Obtaining these three certifications marks a significant milestone in the journey of Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons Automobiles. It reflects our firm commitment to adhering to the highest global standards in quality, sustainability, and occupational health and safety. We do not view these certifications merely as corporate achievements, but as ongoing responsibilities that drive us to enhance our operations, elevate our customers’ experience, and provide a safe and sustainable work environment for our employees and partners.”
Mustafa added, “This achievement is the result of joint efforts and continuous collaboration among various departments and teams within the company. It also demonstrates our ability to operate within an integrated corporate framework that supports our long-term objectives and strengthens our position in the automotive sector in Kuwait and the wider region.”
Ahmed Sadiq Maaref, Head of Shared Services and Business Development at Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons Automobiles, noted, “Over the past period, we have integrated the requirements of quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety certifications into the company’s daily operations. These standards have become an essential part of our operational mechanisms and decision-making processes, rather than being treated as isolated procedures implemented solely to obtain accreditation.”
He continued, “Our operational approach includes continuous process review, performance indicator measurement, identification of improvement opportunities, and development of internal procedures. Additionally, we train employees and raise awareness regarding the importance of quality, sustainability, and occupational safety. We also assess operational and environmental risks and implement necessary preventive and corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance with the requirements of these certifications.”
He clarified that the significance of these certifications lies in their role in reinforcing a corporate culture based on quality and continuous improvement, enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing environmental impacts, and raising health and safety standards in the workplace. These benefits positively affect employees, customers, partners, and all relevant stakeholders.
Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons Automobiles’ acquisition of these three certifications reinforces its corporate approach centered on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
