Interior Ministry: Citizen arrested for operating marijuana farm

The Ministry of Interior stated that the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics, represented by the International Combating Department, managed to apprehend a Kuwaiti national in the Doha area, following surveillance and investigative operations that revealed his involvement in cultivating marijuana and possessing narcotics for the purposes of trafficking and personal use.

The apprehension operation led to the seizure of 6 kilograms of marijuana, a quarter kilogram of hashish, along with tools used in marijuana cultivation, and a cash amount of 17,820 Kuwaiti dinars.

The operation followed the completion of investigative and surveillance procedures, which resulted in locating the farm, apprehending the suspect along with the narcotics and cultivation tools in his possession, as well as the seized cash.
