“Peace Council”: The peace plan rejected by Netanyahu is the only way forward

The High Representative for Gaza at the Peace Council established by U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the Washington-backed plan for the Gaza Strip, which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected, is “the only way forward” to prevent a repeat of the October 7, 2023, attack.

Nikolay Mladenov, the High Representative for Gaza at the Peace Council, said in an interview with Israel’s Channel 12 that “the option we are putting forward today is the only way forward that ensures this tragedy will not be repeated.”
