Kuwait Club’s first team defeated English side Barnet 3-2 in a friendly match held yesterday during their training camp in London.

As usual, Kuwait fielded two different lineups in the match, with the team delivering an excellent performance, particularly in the second half.

Kuwait SC’s first team will face Bahraini club Al-Gharafa in a friendly as part of the Orange Camp currently taking place in Turkey, in preparation for the upcoming season.

Today’s match is Kuwait SC’s third at the camp; they previously drew 2-2 with Qatari club Al-Wakrah and defeated Saudi side Al-Raed 4-1.

Meanwhile, Al-Nasr continues its training camp in Cairo under the guidance of coach Zahir Al-Adwani.

The club announced that the team will play three friendlies at the camp against El-Entag El-Harby, Ceramica Cleopatra, and “G” on the 12th, 15th, and 20th of the current month, respectively.

In other news, Al-Fahaheel continues its training camp in Egypt, where the technical staff, led by Slovak coach Martin Seviela, are working to correct the mistakes made by the players in the match against Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab two days ago.

Al-Fahaheel lost that match 3-1, marking their second defeat at the camp; they had previously faced Al-Sekka Al-Hadid in their first match.

In a phone interview with “Al-Jarida,” Mukhtar said, “We are arranging a match against some teams from the Egyptian Premier League on the 17th of this month, in addition to fixtures against Al-Sekka Al-Hadid and Enppi scheduled for the 13th and 15th, respectively.”

He added that players Rashid Al-Mutairi, Hussein Al-Harbi, and Saad Al-Athab sustained minor injuries: mild muscle strains for the first two and a foot contusion for the third. They are expected to return to training in three days.
