Egyptian arrested while attempting to flee the country via the border fence at Al-Rutqah

The Ministry of Interior announced that the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Administration of Criminal Investigations, succeeded in arresting a suspect of Egyptian nationality in a case of intentional homicide that claimed the lives of two residents in the Kabd area of Al-Jahra Governorate. This achievement followed intensive security efforts that led to identifying, tracking, and apprehending the suspect while he was attempting to flee the country.
The incident details trace back to a report received by security authorities indicating an assault inside one of the fishing boats (jauq) in the Kabd area. Competent authorities immediately dispatched teams to the scene, where it was confirmed that two residents had been stabbed and died as a result of their injuries. Search and investigation teams began their procedures to uncover the circumstances of the incident and identify the perpetrator. Additionally, the murder weapon was found near the scene.
Through intensified search and investigation efforts and the collection of evidence, investigators were able to identify the suspect and track him. In coordination with the General Administration of Land Border Security, he was spotted in the Rutqa area while attempting to escape the country through the border crossing. He was arrested and handed over to the competent authorities to take all necessary legal actions against him.
