Customs: Travelers must declare cash holdings exceeding 3,000 Kuwaiti dinars

The General Customs Authority announced important instructions today regarding the declaration of funds when traveling, clarifying that any person entering or leaving the State of Kuwait who is in possession of currencies or negotiable financial instruments in their own name, amounting to 3,000 Kuwaiti dinars or more, must declare such currencies or financial instruments to the Authority, in accordance with Customs Law No. 106/2013 and Ministry of Finance Decision No. 37/2013.
