Brazil: Four killed in helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro

Four people were killed in a helicopter crash on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, including three Colombian tourists from the same family, a Colombian diplomat told AFP.

Diana Bayez, the Colombian consul general in Rio de Janeiro, told AFP that a Colombian man and his partner traveled with family members to the Brazilian city to celebrate the 15th birthday of his daughter.

The aircraft crashed near Vista Chinesa, a building modeled after Chinese religious pagoda towers, known as a high vantage point offering views of Rio from within the forest.
