“Bisant”: We are taking control of the situation regarding Iran, while they suffer from 180% inflation

The U.S. State Department announced today the dismantling of a network of money exchange offices and shell companies that help Iran circumvent sanctions imposed on it.

Al Arabiya quoted the U.S. State Department as saying that those who assist Iran in evading sanctions will face severe penalties.

Meanwhile, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said, “We are on top of the situation” regarding Iran, adding that Iranians are suffering from a 180% increase in food prices, and noting that Iran is no longer able to pay its soldiers’ salaries.
