Gold posts best weekly gains since January, reaching $4,235.57 per ounce

Gold prices stabilized on Friday, on track to post their largest weekly gain since January, supported by falling oil prices, as investors awaited U.S. non-farm payroll data for clues about interest rate expectations.

Spot gold prices saw little change, settling at $4,235.57 per ounce, but gained 4.8% for the week. U.S. gold futures fell 0.1% to $4,293.80.
