Trump: Very pleased with Defense Minister Hegseth's performance

President Trump denied the accuracy of a report published yesterday, Wednesday, by The Washington Post, which claimed that he was angry with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and had questioned why a false picture had been presented to him regarding a “severe shortage of ammunition,” according to Ynet, the online platform of the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated, “Fake news, as usual, is spreading completely false rumors with no basis in reality. I am extremely pleased with the work Pete Hegseth is doing. Everything has been exceptional, including our attack on Venezuela, and also in Iran, where the country was largely destroyed to ensure it never possesses nuclear weapons. Things are going well there, and Pete is highly respected in the military and has achieved tremendous improvements. In fact, I strongly believe that this false report rises to the level of treason,” according to Ynet.
