Tenders: Bids for Water Network Improvements to Be Submitted on the 30th

The Authority clarified in a statement that the final deadline for submitting bids from companies wishing to compete in the tender is the 30th of the current month, paving the way for the review of bids and completion of the necessary procedures prior to awarding the contract in accordance with the laws and regulations governing public tenders.

The tender aims to enhance the efficiency of water distribution networks and raise their readiness to keep pace with the growing demand for water services, while also supporting the continuity of supplies and improving network reliability across various regions, in line with the Ministry’s plans to update and develop the water sector’s infrastructure.

This tender comes as part of a series of projects implemented by “K-Elec” to develop water facilities, contributing to enhanced network efficiency and achieving the highest levels of service reliability for consumers across the country.

In a separate development, “K-Elec” issued an administrative decision today to carry out an internal transfer of 12 employees among various departments and sectors.

The decision, issued by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Adel Al-Zamil, included the transfer of several employees working in the Electrical Installations Inspection Section under the Electrical Installations Management Department of the Electric Distribution Networks Sector to various internal entities within the Ministry, including the Security and Safety Monitoring Department, the Warehouses Management Department, the Planning and Follow-up Management Department, the Technical Services and Main Workshops Sector, and the Customer Services Sector.
