Warba launches incentive campaign to reward customers

Waha Bank has launched a new campaign aimed at encouraging customers to transfer domestic workers’ salaries to SiDi accounts, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the customer experience and promote the use of digital banking solutions that combine ease, flexibility, and rewards. Under the campaign, customers will earn 100 Pocket Points for each successful salary transfer that meets the eligibility criteria, with a maximum of 1,000 points per month throughout the campaign period.

The campaign runs from August 1 to December 31, 2026, and is available to all current and new retail banking customers. It aligns with the bank’s strategy to incentivize the use of digital services and provide additional benefits that enhance the value customers receive when using its various products and services.

Hamad Ashkanani, Head of Corporate Excellence Management at Waha Bank, stated: “The bank continues to invest in developing its digital services to meet customer expectations and deliver a more convenient and efficient banking experience. This campaign encourages customers to use digital channels to transfer domestic workers’ salaries, while offering tangible rewards that can be utilized within the Pocket Points program. This reflects the bank’s commitment to providing added value that goes beyond traditional banking services.”

Ashkanani clarified that customers will receive 100 Pocket Points for each successful salary transfer to a domestic worker’s account via SiDi, provided the campaign conditions are met. The limit is capped at 10 eligible transfers per month, equating to a maximum of 1,000 Pocket Points per month.

He added that these rewards are in addition to any other benefits or cashback rewards customers may earn through the bank’s core rewards or cashback programs, thereby enhancing the overall value customers derive from using Waha Bank’s services.

Ashkanani noted that earned Pocket Points will be credited to the customer’s digital wallet within the Waha Bank app within 10 business days after the end of each month. Customers can also convert these points into cash, which will be deposited into their account according to the Pocket Points program rules, where every 100 points equal one Kuwaiti Dinar.

He emphasized that this feature offers customers greater flexibility in utilizing their rewards, aligning with the bank’s direction toward providing practical financial solutions that deliver tangible value to users.

Ashkanani further explained that the campaign is an extension of Waha Bank’s strategy to support digital transformation and simplify daily banking services. The bank provides advanced electronic solutions to execute various financial transactions quickly and securely, including the transfer of domestic workers’ salaries through digital channels without the need to visit branches.
