Al-Zoubi: "Red and White" 8 intensive episodes starting from the 14th of this month

Director Munir Al-Zoubi announced the launch of his new series, “Red or White,” starting next Friday (August 14) on the MBC and Shahid platforms, in eight dramatically intense episodes.

Al-Zoubi expressed his eagerness for the premiere of his new dramatic experience, which was filmed in Saudi Arabia and features a cast of prominent Gulf drama stars, including Mohammed Al-Rashed, Mohammed Al-Eissa, Fahd Al-Bettair, Faton Al-Jarallah, Saeed Saleh, Ibrahim Al-Hasawi, Aziz Bahith, Turki Al-Shaddadi, Rana Jabran, Ahmed Al-Turki, Sara Al-Jaber, Asail Mohammed, Abdulrahman Abdullah, Ahmed Al-Alayan, and other stars. The series is written by Mohammed Al-Rashed.

He noted that the plot of the series, which belongs to the crime and social drama genres, revolves around a large family experiencing sharp disputes and conflicts that threaten its cohesion over a disagreement regarding inheritance. As events escalate, the work raises questions about the resilience of blood ties in the face of challenges, through a drama that blends crime with family conflict, placing its characters in life-altering tests.

Al-Zoubi alternates between Kuwaiti and Saudi productions within a single season. The premiere of “Red or White” follows the success of his last Ramadan series, “Small Steps,” which was among the most-watched works of the season and featured a large number of stars, including Hiba Al-Duri, Hamad Al-Omani, Maram Al-Balushi, Mohammed Al-Ramadan, Faisal Farid, Zainab Bahman, and was written by Anfal Al-Duwaisan.

Last year, he also presented the series “Kuwait Riyadh Kuwait,” written by author Ali Duhan and starring Fawaz Al-Shatti, Mohammed Al-Ramadan, Layali Dahrab, Yasah, Noura Al-Omairi, and Ibrahim Al-Shikhli. It told a new story about a woman who works selling second-hand goods and frequently travels between Riyadh and Kuwait, and how her life suddenly turns upside down amid a thrilling array of escalating dramatic events.
