New Council for Engineering Classification

The President of the Kuwait Engineers Association, Mohammed Al-Subaie, affirmed the association’s commitment to cooperation and attracting Kuwaiti engineering expertise and competencies from various sectors, noting the completion of the reconstitution and the launch of the Council for Engineers’ Qualification and Classification for the 2026–2027 term, comprising a group of experienced and competent professionals from different sectors.
Al-Subaie, speaking during the opening of the council’s sessions yesterday evening with its new composition, said: “We have been keen to involve engineering experts of high professional standing and in responsible positions to contribute with us in enhancing the council’s role in elevating the engineering profession.”
For his part, Council President Engineer Rashid Al-Anzi expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed by the Kuwait Engineers Association’s Board of Directors in the new council composition, emphasizing that efforts would continue to advance the accreditation, qualification, and classification of engineers to serve the engineering profession, the labor market, and the state’s orientation toward relying on Kuwaiti human resources to achieve the country’s development objectives.
The new composition of the council from the Kuwait Engineers Association includes: Engineer Rashid Al-Anzi as President; Rashid Al-Azmi as Vice President; and members: Dr. Eng. Burjis Al-Dosari; Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University, Dr. Adel Malallah; Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works, Eid Al-Rashidi; Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Engineer Meshal Al-Zaid; from the Kuwait Municipality, Engineer Mubarak Al-Ajmi; Assistant Undersecretary for Electrical Transmission Networks at the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Engineer Faisal Al-Samit; from the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Engineer Abdullah Al-Akashan; from the Kuwait Union of Engineering Offices and Consulting Firms, Dr. Eng. Adel Al-Mushari; and Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs, Nof Al-Bahbahani.
