Mohammad Iyad: "Watr Land" receives positive reactions

Artist and theater director Mohammad Iyad confirmed that the play “Vaterland,” which originated from a unique idea he developed and presented to Orion Company, has garnered widespread positive feedback since its premiere. He noted that the company embraced the project’s production, while director Mohammad Al-Muslem took charge of directing it, resulting in a cohesive artistic production that relies on employing the latest technologies and visual effects to deliver an unprecedented theatrical experience. This experience embodies a new vision in theater production and contributes to a qualitative leap in the Kuwaiti and Arab theater scene.

Iyad added that he is also preparing to launch a new program on YouTube titled “Iyadco and Children,” an educational and pedagogical program aimed at providing meaningful content that helps develop children’s skills and reinforce values through a contemporary entertaining approach. He pointed out that he is currently working on developing a series of new theatrical projects for both children and adults, which rely on innovative presentation ideas and techniques not previously offered in Kuwaiti theater, such as his pioneering concept of establishing water theater.

He emphasized that the upcoming phase will feature works with a different vision aimed at elevating local theater and keeping pace with global developments. Iyad stated, “My ambition is not limited to producing successful theatrical works; rather, I strive to establish new experiences that leave a genuine mark on the history of Kuwaiti and Arab theater, opening the door to a new generation of performances that combine creativity, technology, and artistic message.”
