Kuwait Football Association draws lots for youth stages

The Kuwait Football Association held the draw for the youth category competitions of the 2026–2027 sports season at its official headquarters yesterday evening. The draw covered the under-19, under-17, and under-15 age groups, attended by officials and conducted with precise organization that underscored the importance of these tournaments in nurturing emerging football talent.

The draw was attended by Kuwait Football Association board member Nasser Al-Adwani, technical director Mohammed Al-Filaikawi, competitions director Dr. Hamed Al-Otaibi, along with representatives of the participating clubs. Teams were distributed into groups in accordance with approved regulations, in an atmosphere characterized by transparency and compliance.

According to the published schedule, the under-17 league will kick off on September 1, 2026, while the under-19 league will begin on September 13 of the same month. The under-15 league will start on September 18, marking a balanced launch for the new season and allowing clubs ample time to prepare and deliver performances befitting the reputation of Kuwaiti football.
